How this converter decides
Brand to brand, jeans are matched on the body waist each chart publishes, never on the tag. The hip each brand allows at that size tells you which of the two is the curvier cut.
Every answer names its source. The formula is arithmetic. A brand chart is the brand's own claim about the body a size is built for. Wearers are people who own both and told us what fits; they appear once five of them stand behind an answer, and until then the panel says so instead of guessing.
