The rules for using TrueToSize.
TrueToSize helps you choose a size and, when something still does not fit, find someone it will. These terms say what that help is and where it stops. Using the site means you accept them.
1. What the site is
TrueToSize is an information service. It shows size charts published by brands, converts between size systems, and summarises fit reports written by other people. It does not sell products, hold stock, take payment, ship anything or act as anyone's agent.
2. Size suggestions are a starting point
A suggestion is an estimate built from the items you tell us about, the brand's own chart and what other people reported. Brands change their lasts, fabrics and charts without notice, and two people with the same measurements can prefer different fits. Always check the brand's current size chart and the seller's return terms before you buy. We are not responsible for a purchase that does not fit, for return costs, or for a seller's decisions. 3. Catalogue facts
Product facts and size charts are checked against the maker's own pages and carry the date we checked them. They can be out of date. Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products; no brand sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with TrueToSize unless a page says so.
4. Links to shops
Pages link to brand and retailer sites. If a link can earn TrueToSize a commission, that is stated beside the link. No commission, sponsorship or payment is an input to any size suggestion, score or ordering. Other sites have their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Accounts
You can use most of the site without an account. Accounts are for people aged 16 or older, one per person, signed in by email link. Keep access to your email secure; activity from your account is treated as yours. You can export or delete your account at any time from My fit.
6. Fit reports
Write only about items you have worn, and say so if you received the item free, at a discount, or have any relationship with the brand. Do not post on behalf of a brand or seller without declaring it, copy text from elsewhere, or include personal information about anyone. You keep ownership of what you write and give TrueToSize a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it, summarise it and include it in anonymous aggregates. We moderate against the fit report rules, never against sentiment, and may hold, edit for privacy, or remove content that breaks them.
7. Pass it forward
Handoffs are arrangements between two people. TrueToSize introduces them and does not verify items, hold money, ship, refund or settle disputes. You are responsible for describing items honestly, for meeting safely and for any payment you choose to make. The handoff rules are part of these terms. Handoffs are available within one country only.
8. Acceptable use
- No automated collection of the site's content beyond what
robots.txtallows, and no attempt to identify the people behind aggregated fit data. - No false reports, vote manipulation, harassment, sexual content, counterfeit goods or attempts to move a conversation to payment scams.
- No interference with the service or with other people's accounts.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
9. Privacy

10. No warranty, limited liability
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. TrueToSize is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from a purchase, a handoff, another user's conduct or a third-party site. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live that cannot be waived.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date below changes when they do, and material changes are announced on the site before they take effect.
